Hijab graduated in 2002 from The University of Nottingham from the School of the Built Environment with a Masters in Climatic Responsive Building – Specializing in Zero Energy Buildings both at a Micro and Macro level. Hijab aims to attain excellence in the construction of Green Buildings that can contribute to a sustainable and efficient built environment. Hijab is committed to designing high value, high impact, innovative and technically proficient buildings. 

Hijab founded Mistecture in 2011 to facilitate the introduction of new approaches to sustainability in Manitoba. She is a leader in architecture, urban design and sustainable energy technologies. Mistecture is particularly noted for its innovative work in green issues and sustainability, and collaborates with leading experts from around the world.

Hijab is passionate about builds that have positive impact on the community and her only goal is to have a great project with happy people living and working in the buildings. Hijab will successfully lead her team through the design-bid-build project delivery process. As a team with the sub-consultants they work very well together.
